![]() The whole Wandering Isle Pandaren already being pre-split into the Tushui and the Houjin is rather ludicrous and only necessary from a gameplay standpoint. In fact defending one's home no matter the price is a very strong moral conviction. The separation of the two styles, Tushui and Houjin, seems really forced as usually you wouldn't find such a disparity of belief between "living a venerable life through meditation, rigorous training, and moral conviction" and "inaction is the greatest is honorable to defend home and family no matter the price" that it creates two entirely different schools which are, in the end, no different at all. If you're talking specifically about the Wandering Isle Pandaren I would say that it was more for game play reasons than anything else.
